Just like clothes, new season equals new makeup and skincare. My wish list is continuously growing and I always look to blogs, most popular on the sephora site, and other influencers for ideas on what to add to my collection.
Lets start with base makeup, My whole life, I have been combo skin that leaned oily in the T-zone. Specifically my forehead and upper lip. Lately however, I have been having an issue with dryness around my nose and enlarged pores in the T-zone. My top two products on the list will hopefully work together to get my skin looking its best again.
1. Tatcha Silk Canvas($52)- This priming balm is said to smooth the skin and extends the wear time of your makeup. It’s silk ingredients claim to prevent the clogging of pores. ( is it too good to be true?)
2. Tatcha Water Cream($68)- Is an anti aging water cream that contains Japanese nutrients for optimal hydration and poreless looking skin.
3. Becca 24 hour foundation($44)- I am a full coverage girl, and after watching Nikki Tutorials video testing this I WANT IT BAD. it is a 24 hour wear, full coverage, and water resistant formula.
Taking a break from makeup, has anyone tried Halo beauty yet? The hair skin nails booster was not catching my eye, but the new Kiwi seed booster is an item that is sitting in my cart, but I have not pressed purchase yet. I am a huge fan of the creator Tati. I am not the most consistent with skin care( I have recently made it a point to actively stay on track and be on my game ) but this product looks like the real deal and seems to combat all of the issues I am currently having with my skin.
This booster is ($29.95) and supports collagen and Keratin, helps to give you clear and radiant skin by hydrating and rejuvenating with your daily dose of one capsule per day.
Lets talk eyes next. I am just starting to experiment with a little color. As I have mentioned before. I am IN LOVE with my Jeffree Star Thirsty Palette. I am currently eyeing a couple more that have some fun colors.
1.Natasha Denona Lila Palette($129): Does anyone else get stressed when looking at that price tag? I have watched endless reviews on this palette, know that it is worth the money but still can not bring myself to purchase. The colors in this are absolutely stunning. there are 15 shades of warm and cool violets, plums and fuchsias. This palette includes….4 matte shades, 7 metallic shades, 3 duo chrome shades and 1 chroma crystal shade.
2.Dominique Cosmetics Lemonade Palette($42): I know I am late to the party on this one, and going into fall, the colors may not be the most useful, but There is no rules to makeup. I can think of a million ways to incorporate some of these colors into fall looks and the others would be great to practice and master by next spring. This palette includes…. 3 shimmer shades, 3 foil shades and 4 matte shades.
Lastly, lets mention face makeup. I am a lover of bronzer. You can never have too much. Well there is no doubt about it that the one and only wishlist item at the moment for powder makeup is…..
- Marc Jacobs Omega Bronzer in Coconut Perfect Tan.($49): This is the bronzer of all bronzers. The perfect shade, in the huge white compact is supersized and flatters a variety of skin tones.
What is on your wish list? Do you have any of these products? I would love to know your thoughts and reviews. Lets chat a little 🙂
